This was a series of mushroom-themed stuff I made for elementary school art fairs in grade 4th and 5th. I made wooden toys, coasters, ornaments, painted bookmarks & canvas art, and beaded bracelets. I learned about choosing art style and colors for making toys that look like they belong to the same brand. I also learned about setting up the booth in a crowded space in a way that makes it easy to look at objects of different sizes. I learned about marketing - offering discounts on collecting multiple mushrooms (a mushroom clan) was a neat strategy. I made the most profits during both years! Learning about “net profits” was slightly disappointing.
